Hamak détient deux licences, notamment Nimba et Gozohn, qui font l’objet d’une importante activité d’exploitation artisanale. Notons que ces permis d’exploitation offrent une option débouchant sur cinq autres à savoir Lofa, Fasama, Cestos, Sinoe et River Gee qui couvrent à eux tous une superficie totale de 4 965 km2.
